Luretta Colli Paicentini DOC Gutturnio 2018
Colli Piacentini is a beautiful wine area in Emilia Romagna region, 300 mt above sea level, cool and windy springs and dry and hot summers. Uphill area facing the Alps with limestone based vineyards.
Gotturnio wine is a blend of personality and tradition. Born in Roman times from the simultaneous harvesting of two different species of vine (Bonarda and Barbera) and their ageing in wood. Owing its name to an ancient Roman vase used to pour wine during banquets, Gutturnio is easy to recognise by its unique flavour, combining the fresh tenacity of Barbera and the red power of Bonarda. Gutturnio is the flagship wine of the Piacenza province, it portrays the region with charming gentleness and austere elegance.
