Many of the specimens from this winery have not been rescued from the closure that marked the end of the warehouse versions in the 80s. However, Will Perez and Ramiro Ibanez have dedicated themselves to searching for the soleras that tell the story from Jerez, to rescue the oldest versions of these wines.

This is the case of the Amontillado Superiorisimo Miraflores Alta wine, a specimen that is part of this history, since it is a wine that comes from a plot in the sub-region of Miraflores Alta, where the vineyard does not exist today.

However, in the winery where the last havest was made, they managed to find a barrel where this specimen was aging, but it only had a little more than 40 liters. That's when Willy and Ramiro, captivated by its quality, wanted to sell it in 100 bottles.

Elaboration

The process of making Amontillado Superiorisimo Miraflores Alta wine is not supported by any document, since only a solera with a little more than 40 liters was found. Howevery, Will Perez and Ramiro Ibanez can assure that it is a wine aged for more than 60 years, and that it was caused for its I protect the sheery barrels.

Flavour

The amontillado Superiorisimo Miraflores Alta wine has a very peculiar dark amber color, and denotes a marine aroma of the nose. In the mouth you can taste an extreme salinity, typical of Sanlucar de Barrameda.
