Like the Dolcetto, Giovanni Angeli has delivered a superb Barbara this year. Cropped from a 2.2 hectares of limestone rich vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, it's a succulent, perfumed release packed with fleshy blueberry and Satsuma plum flavours and a tangy, vibrant close. Again, one of the best examples of this wine we have shipped.
