Max and Me House Blend Shiraz Cabernet 2021

Max & Me Estate ‘The House Blend’ 2021 is a full-bodied Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon, but by virtue of it growing in Eden Valley in the elevated Barossa Ranges, it shows beautiful fragrance in its ripe-fruit profile and fineness in its tannin structure. Made without fining and is vegan friendly. A single vineyard Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon by Philip and Sarah Lehmann.

The House Blend of Max & Me is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes sourced from our Boongarrie Vineyard. Each release of the House Blend varies in varietal composition, but is always a blend of our Bottom Block Cabernet and North Block or House Block Shiraz. In reference to Cabernet-Shiraz blends being referred to as ‘Great Aussie Blends’, the word “House” refers here to Australia’s great house. The vines grow next to one another. There is no doubt that this blend has a special ability to improve with age. Our Cabernet blend brings dark fruit and structure while our Shiraz blend adds mulberry, chocolate, and generosity. – Wine Maker's Note
