Ansonica is a Sicilian native, with its bronze-tinted, slightly leathery berries. Grown in the Vinifera vineyard out Murray Darling way, blended with some Friulano from the Pasut vineyard. This guy gives texture-town, leaning right in to the phenolic character each grape offers. Slightly skinsy and heavily aromatic. Flowers, orange peel, ginger.
