Pale gold with a fragrant nose of rose petals, honeysuckle, ripe yellow pear, perfectly ripe quince and subtle all spice notes. Rich and savoury on the palate with more finesse and elegance than expected from the nose. Pear skin and roasted quince vie with attractive phenolic texture and some nutty savouriness and savoury spice. Fine and long on the finish.

Match a glass of this wine to a few slices of silky spicy mortadella. Perhaps a perfectly ripe washed rind cheese as well.
