100% Furmint. Dry white quality wine from Tokaji Region, Hungary. Hand harvested from the 0.36ha Holdvölgy/Középhegy vineyard which is situated in the village of Mád. 100% south facing, vines planted between 1980-1985 with tiny 10Hl production. Base rock of Rhyolithe.

Organic cultivation not certified; hand harvested, whole bunch pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in oak barrels, no filtration.

Very distinct white and yellow fruit layers, underlaid with fresh herbal as well darker, almost smoky minerality. The palate is very elegant, young, intense but full of finesse, long and completed with an excellent acidity. – Roland Velich, Moric
