The grapes for this Mount Riley Marlborough Pinot Gris were grown in three of Riley's premium Mount vineyards in the heart of the Wairau Valley. Cool but dry summers provide perfect ripening conditions and result in a Pinot Gris with excellent aromatics, intense flavour and high conservation of natural acidity. About 10% was fermented in barrels to accentuate texture and complexity in the wine.

Mount Riley Marlborough Pinot gris is a dry wine with a light golden colour, a powerful apple-pear aroma and a nectarine-apricot flavour supplemented with citrus. A long persistent finish and balanced acidity.
