Clos Chante l'Alouette, which has been organically farmed since 1989, produces early drinkable, pleasing, and approachable wines with impressive concentration and ripening potential. The 2016 is a classic right bank Bordeaux cuvée made up of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. A powerful nose of sour cherries and raspberries, as well as lovely spices and coffee. Palate is well-balanced and supple, with a juicy-rich finish.
