Its fresh and lively a wine that does not take itself too seriously but look and you will see red current fruit with a hint of strawberry jam. There is varietal correctness from a cool year with a touch of leaf and a soft plush finish which really helps to define this style. Delicious.

2022 was an exceptionally late harvest. This was mainly due to the cool and wet spring that we had and the well-known presence of a La Nina weather cycle. Low crops and open canopies where essential to getting the fruit ripe. The fruit comes from a vineyard we affectionately call La Colline sitting at 910m it is our highest elevation vineyard and a great site to define the possibilities of Cabernet Franc in a cool climate.
