This wine comes from a vineyard of approximately 1 hectare, trained to a high density (6,000 vines/ha) using the double Guyot system. At an altitude of approximately 215-230 meters above sea level, the soil is clayey and rich in gravel, west-facing and on a steep slope; right on the edge of the large Monte Bottigli forest: a "forteto" known to locals for its wild and impenetrable nature.

The grapes grow in small, pine-like bunches, hence the alternative name "pignoletto." The berries have a very robust skin with a high tannin content for a white wine. The bunches take on a beautiful golden color, and when ripe, they produce a wine of remarkable character and elegance.

The wine displays a golden yellow color, with a bouquet of floral and yellow-fleshed fruit aromas. On the palate, it displays structure, complexity, and persistence, while still maintaining good drinkability. A versatile white wine that lends itself to pairing with fish or meat dishes that can enhance its characteristics and personality.
