Podere Monastero “Campanaio” IGT Toscana 2023 is a dry, full-bodied Tuscan red wine (Super Tuscan style) made in Castellina in Chianti by winemaker Alessandro Cellai. It is a 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot blend, produced from low-yield, carefully selected vineyards at high altitude, with extended oak aging that gives it structure and depth.

In the glass, the 2023 vintage is typically deep ruby in colour, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and ripe dark berries, layered with notes of tobacco, spice, and subtle vanilla from oak. On the palate it is rich yet polished, showing concentrated fruit, fine-grained velvety tannins, and balanced acidity, leading to a long, elegant, and slightly savoury finish that reflects both the Cabernet-Merlot structure and the refined Tuscan terroir.
