Jean Rijckaert, Belgian by origin, started his domaine in 1998 with four hectares in the south of Bourgoge (Mâconnais) and 5.5 hectares near Arbois, the capital of Jura wines. In 2013 he transferred all his knowledge, passion and savoir faire to the young winemaker Florent Rouve. Since then, it has successfully managed to maintain the unique Rijckaert style: elegant, terroir-driven wines that – thanks to the higher-lying vineyards – possess a soothing freshness.
