Grapes for our Gutsriesling are harvested from the areas bordering our top classified sites on the Kiedrich Gräfenberg; the medium to deep soil is composed of stony, fragmented phyllite interlaced with loess and loam; and the steep, southwest facing vineyards include inclines of up to 60 %
