A collection of five Barossa Valley Shiraz vineyards contributed fruit with varying characteristics and add a nice complexity to this wine. The vineyards in the northern region of the Barossa are known for adding depth and weight to a wine, while the vineyards in the Marananga bowl give the wine power and length. The criteria is to select vineyards that are cropped at a level that is in harmony with the growth of the vines and the strength of the soil.
