Following on from the superb wines of the 2021 vintage is no easy feat, but this 2022 Black Guts looks every bit as good, dense nose with dark fruits, some graphite and spice. Dark cherries, plum, hints of dark chocolate all framed beautifully by the oak. There’s a density to this wine yet a silky mouthfeel and lovely acidity that keeps you reaching for another sip! This is my opinion – probably just out rates the 2021. A must try!
