Scala Cirò Bianco DOC 2024
The Scala family produces, selects and takes care of the Cirò wine, cultivating native grapes such as Gaglioppo, Magliocco, Nerello and Greco Bianco in their traditional, clayey organically managed land, both hilly and flat, in a production that aims to the distinction. The Cirò Bianco from the Sala company is a white wine, obtained from the Greco Bianco vine typical of Calabria located on sandy clay soil. The harvest of the grapes takes place manually in boxes with selection in the vineyard of the best bunches, after having destemmed the grapes and softly pressed, the must is seeded with selected yeasts and fermentation continues at a controlled temperature, 16-18C, in order to preserve all the varietal characteristics of the vine. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation the Cirò Bianco wine is decanted and left to rest in stainless steel containers for 2-3 months.
