The blend consists of Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese and Marzemino. The grapes of the different varieties are harvested manually from the Borgo San Donino vineyard; in the cellar they are crushed-destemmed. The maceration on the skins usually lasts only a few hours until the desired color intensity is obtained from the must, then the racking is carried out. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at low temperature, as soon as it is finished the wine is cooled to prevent malolactic fermentation, the clear wine is then aged in steel tanks until January. It has a charming light pink color, sweet scent reminiscent of red forest fruit and a certain vinosity reminiscent of cherries; the taste is salty and very fresh, with a soft and fragrant finish.
