Typical of the year, the wine is denser, fuller and more deeply flavoured than the previous vintage.

Made from a blend of vineyards located across the eastern Barossa foothills, Moppa and Eden Valley, the wine displays plenty of deep, plush dark black fruit but without the fatness and bulk of the more traditional style. The fruit wraps around a backbone of beautifully integrated tannin from 35% whole bunch fermentation. This is as pure an expression of Barossa Shiraz that you will ever come across.
