Tempranillo sourced from the Iberian peninsula has been grown and used in making fortifieds at S&K for decades. The natural extension is to make a table wine. In typical New World style it is much bolder and flavoursome than the sometimes thin and lighter Joven styles from old world Rioja in Spain. The suitability of this variety to the warm Rutherglen region lifts it to a new level
