Fruit for this wine was handpicked from our single vineyard site “The View” approx 300 metres above sea level. This enables favourable cool climate growing conditions. The grapes were bunch sorted, pressed and vinified in open top fermenters. The wine was matured in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months.

The wine is pale red in colour while the nose is dominant with notes of sour cherries, macerated strawberries and hints of allspice.
The palate is generous with layers of dark cacao and savoury notes.
