93 POINTS - Wine Orbit, Sam Kim
"This is instantly appealing on the nose with apricot, rockmelon, lemon zest and rich floral aromas, leading to a splendidly refreshing palate that's juicy and smooth. Well rounded with elegant flavours, making it fabulously drinkable." 31 March 2022
The grapes were machine harvested, crushed and pressed through an air bag press in the protective presence of SO2. Cold tank fermentation was undertaken at between 10 to 12 degrees celcius. A spritzy yet soft palate of light green apple and citrus mousse. It's refreshing with a crisp acid finish, and a lifted bouquet of green apples, grapefruit with hints of pear and spring flowers. Winery: Tar & Roses Grapes: Glera Alcohol: 11.2% Region: King Valley, Australia Food Pairing: Remember to bring this Prosecco along while you’re having a juicy melon wrapped in mouthwatering prosciutto
