Totally opaque black red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Nosing reveals aromas of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with flashes of dark chocolate over subtle cedary tobacco characters and a hint of spicy bay leaf as an end note. Firm and tightly knit yet with good fruit richness the palate has flavours of blackcurrant, a touch of black olive, cedary tobacco characters, bay leaf infusions and spice. Dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, spicy cedar and bay leaf infusions.
