Terra Argillosa Marche Rosso IGT Fatja 2015
Terra Argillosa extends over six hectares and wines are the result of never-ending research for purity. Vineyards are 180 metres above sea level, with a dense structure of about 5500 stumps per hectare. The winemaking team focuses on growing indigenous grapes to fully respect the traditions of the region.
A full and harmonious wine that combines two of the most important grapes in the world, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvested by hand in September, Fatja undergoes a slow alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation. Maturation in 350-litre French oak barrels for two years. Subsequently the wine ages for at least 12 months in the bottle prior to bottling. A complex wine, structured and balanced on the nose. The palate is rounded, enveloping and at the same time freshness and persistence.
To be paired with red meats and complex dishes.
