From a plot of vines planted in the early 1980s in St-Lambert-du-Lattay, planted at 8000 feet/ha on shallow soils of grey shale and rhyolite.

Fermented on native yeasts in francen Stockinger including some 300L cigars, used to develop the complexity of the lees. Then raised in half-muids and 700L (30%new) for 15 to 18 months.
