Thierry Germain is one of our all-time favourite winemakers and this is a perfect rendition of Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. It comes from a tiny vineyard of eighty-five-year-old vines, which gives the fruit extraordinary depth and concentration. Theres notes of orchard fruit, flint and jasmine, but the defining feature is the freshness and minerality that give this wine an incredible length. Wonderful stuff.
