The fruit for this wine was handpicked from a mediterranean-like terroir vineyard on the coastal side of McLaren Vale. The 2023 vintage was cool to warm through the ripening season and this contributed to pronounced flavour profiles. During the wild ferment, the wine had extended maceration on skins. Post fermentation, the wine was aged in seasoned French oak barrels for 10 months.

Lifted aromas of savoury and berry fruits. On the palate is a myriad of black cherry, juicy red fruits mingled with spicy savoury flavours. It is a medium bodied style of wine finishing with elegance and fine tannins.
