Togouchi Peated Cask Finish is a Japanese world blend with a Scottish character created by Sakurao Brewery & Distillery from a blend of single malts and grain whiskies from Scotland and Canada but aged in Japan.

Carefully selected by Funada San, responsible for bottling Togouchi whiskies, the single malts and grain whiskies were first aged in bourbon casks and then matured in casks that had previously contained Islay whisky. During this additional maturation, Togouchi Peated Cask Finish will see its peaty and smoky side brought to light.

The fruity and balanced aromatic profile is marked on the nose by notes of black tea, orange peel and chocolate, then during the tasting appear aromas of honey, coconut and a slight touch of smoked peat. The experience ends in a finish revealing aromas of caramelized sugar, lavender and of course peat.
