While "Cream" conjures memories of that old bottle of cheap sherry that our Grandmother's used to drink, Toro Albalá's rendition is more like your sexy, sh-boogie bop Prince version. Albala's amazingly complex ten-year-old Oloroso (Oloroso Viejo) is judiciously enriched with old Don PX Gran Reserva to create an intricate, refined, palate-caressing wine that never tires the palate. Notes of salted caramel, peanuts and nectarine give way to a velvety palate where mouth-watering salinity is offset by the sweet caress of the Don P.X element. This is unique and utterly delicious Cream PX that makes a terrific companion to a wide range of desserts.
