The Schist Rock Shiraz comes from Dom Torzi’s Mt McKenzie vineyard in the Eden Valley. It’s a focussed and pure display of Eden Valley fruit with characters of dark and red berry fruits, spice and some whole-bunchy and floral high notes. A waft of classy softly spoken oak flits in the background and there is ample tight ripe tannin and bright acidity driving the wine along.
