Burgundy bred, Romain Bouchard, a 9th generation winemaker, left his ancestors' land to launch Val des Rois on the Valréas terroir in 1965. 10Ha of vines are grown on stony slopes, with deep and fresh clays, giving a balanced acidity and a delicacy of tannins specific to this appellation.
The Estate is certified Organic Farming by Ecocert and does not use any synthetic products.

Intense garnet colour. The aromas range from black cherry, blueberry and chocolate. The balance between freshness and power, characteristic of the Valréas appellation is present throughout the tasting, accompanied by the finesse of the tannins.
