A blend of 85% Carmenere and 15% Syrah with 70% of the blend aged in French oak for a period of 10 months. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Spicy ripe red currant aromas intermix with hints of tobacco, earth and bell pepper. Mid weighted juicy red currant and red cherry flavours laced with tobacco and dried herbs have a spicy ending. Fine grained tannins with a dash of bell pepper to the elegant, savoury conclusion.
