The most famous sparkling wine is turning...rose'! Since 2019 the Prosecco DOC allow producers to mix 10% Pinot Noir to blush the fruit driven, youthful notes of their indigenous varietal Glera. The result is a Light pink sparkling wine with enticing notes of delicate berries and citrus. The palate is slightly more robust than conventional Prosecco due to the additional textural layers provided by the Pinot Noir, carrying red fruit flavours and a touch of savouriness which add complexity to this new iconic Prosecco!
