“Our objective is to create wines that express all the character of the old vines and indigenous grape varieties of the Douro, seeking a balance between concentration, complexity and elegance.”

Grapes: Vinha do Altar is located on the Fermentões plateau at 600 meters above sea level and with a northern exposure. It has the varieties Viosinho, Gouveio and Arinto.

Tasting Note: Very vibrant citrus aroma, peach and floral notes. In the mouth it is an elegant white, very fresh with a slight unctuousness, all in excellent harmony.

Vinification: The properly selected and de-stemmed grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press, fermented at low temperatures for 4 weeks and aged on fine lees for 6 months.
