Bianca by KT is made from Vermentino grown by the Koerner family in the hamlet of Leasingham in the Clare Valley. Vermentino is a white grape variety that originally heralds from the island of Sardinia in Italy and is enjoyed for its resistance to dry and warm conditions and its high natural acidity. This wine is created using wild fermentation techniques, meaning 100% indiginous yeast and partially fermented in older French oak barrels. This Vermentino has gorgeous aromatics and florals and a textural savoury palate with a zesty citrus finish. As is the tradition in Italy – it’s perfectly partnered with sardines.
