This is a remarkably plush and polished cabernet from this cooler vintage. Ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate aromas with a trace of fruit pudding. The palate is dense and concentrated with a slightly liqueur cherry and dark chocolate flavour balanced with some nice minerally tannins and a decent lick of oak.
