This wine was blended to celebrate the Yalumba 175th birthday year, only available in magnums. It is a traditional Barossa blend of Shiraz and Grenache but has been made in a modern style. This is a wine of individuality showcasing pristine fruit flavour, indigenous yeasts and whole bunch characters. Showing a lovely depth of red with purple hues this wine is so beautifully aromatic. It is fresh and bright, with cherry and pepper spice, combined with camphor, cedar and whole bunch notes. A Shiraz that is classically Eden Valley in style and flavour. The palate is medium weighted, with Rosemary, lavender and pepper flavours. Very delicious and inviting, the palate flows with a fine velvet like tannin profile. This wine is very elegant and refined.
