Yeringberg Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Yeringberg is a historic Yarra Valley estate, first established in 1863 and now under the stewardship of the fifth generation of the de Pury family. Once one of the region’s most celebrated vineyards, production ceased in 1921 before being revived by Guill and Katherine de Pury in 1969. Today, winemaker Sandra de Pury leads the winery, working alongside her brother David who manages the vineyard. With some of the oldest vines in the Yarra Valley, Yeringberg continues to produce elegant, age-worthy wines that reflect both heritage and thoughtful custodianship.
Produced only in the finest vintages, the 2022 Yeringberg Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-varietal expression from 1999 plantings, offering structure and intensity with classic refinement. Handpicked and fermented in small open-top tanks, the wine spent 16 days on skins and was matured for 21 months in French oak (30% new). Deep aromas of blackberry, black olive and dark chocolate are layered with iodine and tobacco. The palate is savoury and powerful, yet fresh and finely poised, showing the vintage’s hallmark elegance and age-worthy structure.
Alc. 13.5%
