Le Serines has an intense complex nose of dark fruit enhanced by spice and liquorice. A clean dark entry evolves into something rich, dense and rounded on the palate. Le Serines posseses a long, mineral finish helped along by silky, fine-grained tannins. Le Serines is made from some of Yves Cuilleron's oldest vineyarsds in St Joseph and sees 50% new oak. This is a wine that needs a little rest on release and will be at it's best between 5-10 years after release.
