Full flavoured yet elegantly weighted – a hallmark of this exceptional vineyard. The palate shows dark red fruit flavours combined with a hint of Chinese five spice. Soft fine tannins add structure and length.

Crafted from our best Shiraz parcels all fruit was de-stemmed and the must was cold soaked on skins for 4 days prior to ferment. The must was then allowed to warm and was inoculated with a Shiraz specific yeast for fermentation. Post-ferment the parcels were drained and gently pressed off skins before being transferred directly to French Oak barrels for 12 months maturation. The barrels were racked and blended post maturation then lightly fined and filtered for bottling.
