Darroze 1979 Le Tuc GBA 49% 700ml
The color is a stunning gold with amber hues. The aroma is pungent and intense, with scents of prune, orange peels, and dry fig, accompanied by a blend of fine spices such as pepper and nutmeg. On the palate, the tannins are smooth and round, highlighting the same spicy and fruity flavors of licorice, clove, and white pepper. The finish is impressively long. Made from a blend of 50% baco and 50% Ungi Blanc, aged for 43 years in oak and bottled in April 2022 with a 49% ABV.
The bouquet is fine and offers delicate oaky notes of toast, tobacco, and warm honey, balanced by woody undertones of toasted bread, brown tobacco, butterscotch, and beeswax. Exceptionally well-crafted and harmonious on the palate, with a perfect balance of aromas, alcohol, and tannins, resulting in a long finish.
