Four Gate Whiskey Company has never shied away from the fact that we source the very best barrels of whiskey available on the market. Because they source rather than distill their own, managing a consistent flavour profile of our base whiskey has been difficult. For the first time, however, we are proud to announce we have secured enough whiskey to produce a flagship bourbon for the foreseeable future.

Nose: Vanilla, toasted marshmallow, black pepper, oak.
Taste: Oak, crème bruleé, sweet vanilla, light custard, floral hints and baking spices
Finish: Medium-long, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, and spicy black pepper.
"A straight bourbon that was finished in barrels made with alternating charred and toasted staves. There's plenty of wood char and pencil shavings on the nose, along with dry leaves, pine needles, tea leaves, orange peel, clove, nutmeg, cedar, sandalwood, menthol, and licorice. It's chewy and, naturally, quite oak-forward in the mouth, with complex flavours of spice, dark cherry, black tea, and herbs—mint, licorice, sassafras, and cinnamon.
