Eye: Almost black it looks so dark - indicating the long amount of time that it has spent aging in barrels.

Nose: A dense nose of very old Cognac; old Madeira, and old Balsamic. Notes of blackcurrant buds, exotic passionfruit also emerge. The signature of a fantastic Grande Champagne Cognac is there, in a successful tension between thick and elegant notes.

Palate: On the mouth, it is round and creamy. The rancio is pronounced, with tannins supporting it. The finish is very dense, rich, slightly watery - and elegant. A rare find!
