The Grosperrin N°39 Grande Champagne Cognac, bottled at 45.5% ABV, is an exquisite representation of Grande Champagne’s most refined qualities. This rare and mature Cognac originates from the small village of Salles-d’Angles, where it was aged in a traditional earthen-floored cellar beneath a family farmhouse primarily dedicated to farming. Six years ago, Grosperrin acquired a series of demijohns from a retired viticulturist, whose family had safeguarded these eaux-de-vie for generations. The remaining Cognac was transferred into a seasoned barrel, allowing further aging to enhance its rancio and deepen its finish.
