Hancock & Hancock Mclaren Vale Sparkling Shiraz NV is harvested from selected parcels of McLaren Vale Shiraz with each parcel matured separately in old French oak hogsheads.

Blended prior to bottling the final blend is a mixture of older vintages to ensure consistency in style complexity & palate weight plus some younger vintage shiraz to add lushness juiciness & freshness to the palate. Traditional fermentation in the bottle. Aged on lees for 24 months prior to disgorgement. Disgorged & given a careful dosage of an aged and blended Australian fortified Shiraz to ensure a savoury style with perfect balance.

The wine opens with a wonderful dark crimson foam. Dark berry fruit aromas sweet plum and spicy flavours silky tannins and a rich velvety smooth palate with memorable after taste.
