This mindbogglingly complex Malvasia (weighting in at 20.45 alc/vol and just over 100 grams of residual sugar, balanced by delicious mouth-watering acidity) has been matured using the traditional Canteiro method in Henriques' purpose built lodges in Camara de Lobos. The wines are cask-aged in lodge attics, against south-facing windows, and at 20 years maturation thus, represents the best of Vinhos de Canteiro.
