Each vintage the grapes for 'Cepparello' are hand selected from the best sites on the estate. The wine remains in barrel for 18 months and then ages in bottle for one year before release. It has the potential to age for 10+ years. The wine is dense and intense but has a subtle finesse that frames lovely, dense, black fruit purity. It exhibits a lively color, fresh aromatics and a nuanced personality. It boasts layers of vibrant fruit intermingled with subtle mineral and licorice notes, showing outstanding length on the palate and fine, noble tannins.
