Since 1814, J. Moreau & Fils has been challenging the terroir of Chablis to bring out an exceptional expression of the Chardonnay grape; the only varietal grown there.

The Yonne area used to be the largest vineyard in France. Over 300 boats, called the “Coches d’Eau” shipped tavern wines to Paris. With reference to this historical tradition, the “Les Coches” range is a collection of wines resulting from a meticulous selection, ageing and blending work fully expressing the house style and values of J.MOREAU & Fils since 1814.

Such great value to be had with this sensational little Chardonnay. Medium bodied, soft and smooth, plenty of flavour and character. Notes of pear, guava, citrus and grapefruit. Exceptional acidity and balance with a clean, fresh finish.
