Dry white wine of light straw yellow color with greenish flashes. The fresh, fruity scent of citrus, gooseberry and tropical fruit is complemented by a subtle touch of mineral fragrance. The crisper acid is perfectly balanced by the fruity sweetness, medium-full body, firm texture and fine minerality. A rather long, elegant mineral finish combines with fruity softness and juicy acidity. Fine pressing of hand-harvested grapes from the Kapellenberg vineyard, which is characterized by light, well-drained soil with a high content of sand, gravel and river alluvium. Alcoholic fermentation partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and partly in large oak casks locally called "Stück".
