Michel Couvreur Vin Jaune Cask 9 yrs 48% 500ml
One year older than the previous edition, once again, the Michel Couvreur team have worked their peculiar brand of magic on a Scottish malt, this one distilled on the 1st of February 2015 and matured for over nine years in Jura vin Juane casks (a white wine produced from Savagnin in the Jura region of Eastern France, tasting similar to fino Sherry). Barrels were sourced from Stéphane Tissot and delivered to Couvreur's Burgundy cellars without rinsing, partly accounting for the remarkable wine pick up in this malt. 2500 wax-sealed bottles are on offer globally at 48% Alc./Vol.
